SOCOTEC Celebrates Two New Chartered Quantity Surveyors
Joel Merrick and Jude Burnett have completed their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and achieved Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
This professional milestone recognises their achievement in demonstrating the technical knowledge, professional competence, ethical standards and commitment to excellence required to become Chartered Surveyors. Achieving RICS chartered status is testament to their dedication and hard work.

Joel Merrick
Joel has been a valued member of the SOCOTEC team since joining, progressing within the Quantum Expert Witness team and continually expanding his expertise. Now securing his own appointments, achieving Chartership marks a significant milestone in Joel's professional development.
Joel said:

Jude Burnett
Jude is an integral part of the SOCOTEC team. Joining straight from school, he completed his BSc in Quantity Surveying and has now achieved his Chartership. He provides vital support to our quantity surveying clients and continues to take on increasing responsibility.
Jude said:
“Passing my APC and achieving RICS membership is a proud moment in my career. I couldn't have done it without the mentorship and encouragement from my colleagues at SOCOTEC Forensics & Advisory, who guided me every step of the way.”
