  • Expert Witness and Dispute Resolution: Our forensic expert witness and dispute resolution team provides specialist services across QuantumDelay, and Technical matters. We assist clients in resolving complex construction and engineering disputes through litigation, arbitration, adjudication, mediation, and negotiation. From evaluating technical issues to offering independent guidance, we work closely with legal professionals, infrastructure providers, government bodies, and private developers to deliver clear and actionable solutions.
     

  • Quantity Surveying: Our quantity surveying team provides comprehensive support throughout every project stage, from feasibility to final account. With extensive experience across multiple sectors - including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and aviation - we combine technical knowledge with practical insight to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions. Our expertise guides our clients confidently through their projects from concept to completion, helping achieve successful, value-driven outcomes.

    Cristelle Farmer

    Quantity Surveyor

    Through my Quantity Surveying Degree Apprenticeship with SOCOTEC I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from measuring and valuing work to managing subcontractor accounts. Since completing my degree, SOCOTEC continues to give me regular opportunities to develop my knowledge through monthly CPD sessions, APC Workshops, and 1-2-1 conversations as I work towards my short-term goal of achieving Chartership with the RICS. I enjoy working here as the breadth of the SOCOTEC Group has allowed me to work with several different areas, and my team in Advisory are always supportive and helping me to grow my confidence each day.

    Jack Osmond

    Quantity Surveyor

    I started my Apprenticeship journey with SOCOTEC Advisory as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor in 2022, shortly after completing my A-levels. Over the course of the last 3 years, I have been generously granted the experience and support to facilitate my growth from Trainee QS, to Assistant QS, to Quantity Surveyor. This growth has been aided by a workplace culture encouraging the embrace of challenge and stepping out of one’s comfort zone, all the while providing the utmost support to facilitate professional development. Looking ahead, I am due to graduate from my BSc Quantity Surveying Degree Apprenticeship in 2026, and plan to complete my RICS Chartership in the Autumn of 2027.

    I started at SOCOTEC as a placement student, taking a year out of university. I quickly realised how helpful and knowledgeable my new colleagues were. I was then approached to stay on and complete the final part of my degree part-time.
