About Sean Ellison

Sean is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with nearly 15 years of experience in the construction industry. He has acted as project quantity surveyor and contract administrator on a range of high-value projects, including residential and civil engineering schemes. His experience particularly pertains to residential developments, from one-off high-end residences through to multi-unit sites with over 200 dwellings.

Currently, Sean manages the quantity surveying division of SOCOTEC, with a team of around 40 professionals delivering high-quality quantity surveying and commercial services from our offices in London and Manchester. In addition to managing the business unit, Sean is also responsible for several concurrent client account. At SOCOTEC, he has also worked on international arbitrations, assisting expert witnesses by preparing analyses for disputes arising on large-scale international construction projects.

As part of his wider role, Sean actively supports the training and education of our apprentices and technical team, with a focus on helping people undertake their Assessment of Professional Competence to become Chartered Quantity Surveyors.
