About Mark Sutton

Mark is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 21 years of experience in the construction industry. Following 11 years as a contractors’ quantity surveyor and commercial manager, Mark has spent a further 10 years working in quantum expert witness and claims consultancy services. He has extensive experience of commercial and contractual management on a wide range of construction and engineering projects.

Mark has expertise and experience in various forms of dispute resolution including the preparation of cost claims, advice notes, expert reports (CPR Part 35) and general commercial advice. He has gained a vast amount of experience working for and advising employers/owners, main contractors and subcontractors in the UK and abroad. Mark is also skilled in manging teams.

Mark has worked on various projects and disputes in the UK, Europe, East Asia, Northern Africa, the Middle East and Australia. He is experienced in many sectors, including nuclear, infrastructure, hospitals, offices, residential buildings, large offshore oil projects, refinery megaprojects, mining megaprojects, and on and offshore windfarms.
